Signing in

Kuumba is a website. There is nothing to install, and it works in any current browser on a laptop, tablet or phone.

1. Open the address your organisation gave you. It will look like chat.yourcompany.com. If you do not have it, ask whoever asked you to start using Kuumba.

2. Sign in with your work account. Enter your work email address and your password. Access is managed by your organisation’s administrator, so this is the same account you use for the rest of your work tools unless you were told otherwise.

3. You land in a new chat. That is the whole sign-in. The next page walks through your first chat.

If you cannot sign in

• “Access is managed by your organisation administrator.” Your account has not been given access yet, or it has been switched off. Ask your administrator — nobody else can change this for you.
• Wrong password. Use your own organisation’s password reset, not Kuumba’s: Kuumba does not hold your password.
• The page will not load at all. Check the address for a typo first, then ask your administrator whether the service is reachable from where you are.

Staying signed in

Kuumba keeps you signed in on a device until you sign out or your organisation’s session length runs out. On a shared or public computer, sign out from the menu behind your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
