Your first chat

The screen

• The message box, in the middle. This is where you type. Everything else is a shortcut to something you can put into it.
• The sidebar, on the left. Your chats, and the four places your material lives: Kuumba bots, Files, Projects and Applications.
• Your name, bottom left. Settings, archived chats and signing out.
• The help icon, top right. It brings you to these pages.

Ask something

1. Type a question and press Enter. Plain language is the whole interface — you do not need to phrase things in a special way.

2. Read the answer, then push back. “Shorter.” “In a table.” “You’ve misunderstood the second point — try again.” Kuumba keeps the conversation, so you do not have to restate the question.

3. Start a new chat when the subject changes. Select Chat at the top of the sidebar. A fresh chat gives cleaner answers than a long one that has wandered.

The single most useful habit

Say what the answer is for. “Summarise this for a client who has not seen the project” gets you something usable; “summarise this” gets you a summary.

Make it work on your material

A general answer is only ever a starting point. The three keys below put your own material into the question — they are covered properly in command keys.

Where your chats go

Every chat is saved to the sidebar automatically and stays there until you delete it. If you would rather it were not kept, use a temporary chat.
