Files

Files in the sidebar holds everything you have uploaded. Each file is a card, with a coloured icon for its type so a spreadsheet does not look like a contract.

  • Drag a file onto the message box, or
  • paste an image straight in, or
  • use + beside the message box, or
  • upload from the Files page itself.

Anything you attach in a chat is kept here too, so you only ever upload a document once.

Press / in the message box and pick the file. It attaches as a chip, and your question is answered against its contents.

You can attach more than one — asking Kuumba to compare two documents is one of the things it is genuinely good at.

The Files page searches as you type and forgives typos, so a rough memory of the name is enough. The filter narrows by type, and you can change the sort order.

Documents, spreadsheets, presentations, plain text, code and images. Very large documents are read in sections, so ask about a specific part rather than for a summary of everything at once when the file is long.
