Finding an old chat

Select the magnifying glass at the top of the sidebar to open search.

  • Opened with nothing typed, it lists your recent conversations, newest first.
  • Type anything and it searches inside your conversations, not just their titles. A phrase you remember from the middle of a chat will find it.
  • Hover or arrow onto a row and the right-hand pane previews that conversation, so you can confirm it is the right one without opening it.
  • Enter opens the highlighted conversation.
  • Ctrl + Shift + D deletes it.

Kuumba names each conversation from what it is about. If a title is unhelpful, rename it from the menu on the row in the sidebar — renaming makes chats far easier to find later, and search covers titles too.

Temporary chats never appear in search. That is the point of them.
