Projects

A project is a folder for a piece of work. The chats belonging to it, the documents it runs on and the bots it uses sit together, instead of being spread across a long history you have to search.

When a project earns its keep

• Work that runs for weeks and comes back in pieces — a client account, a tender, a product launch.
• Anything where the same handful of documents is the background to every question.
• Work more than one person touches.

For a one-off question, skip it. A project is organisation, and organisation you do not need is just admin.

Using one

Create a project from Projects in the sidebar, then start chats inside it. Files attached to the project are available to every chat in it, so the context does not have to be re-established each time.
